Reasons for the appointment

Ms. MacCallum has extensive experience leading business transformation and brand repositioning at a major global sportswear company. She also has a strong background as an advisor on brand purpose, strategy, communications and ESG.
Since July 2019 , she has served as a member of Kao’s ESG External Advisory Board, and since September 2021, she has been an Executive Fellow, providing guidance on Kao Group’s ESG initiatives and communications from a global and multi-stakeholder perspective. She has a deep understanding of Kao’s business, competitive advantages and organizational culture.
Leveraging her extensive experience and expertise, we believe Ms. MacCallum will further strengthen Kao Group’s global integration of sustainability and business, as well as enhance its marketing, corporate branding, and brand strategy.
