ERG（Employee Resource Group）

ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) are voluntary, employee-led groups that bring together individuals with shared characteristics or experiences, uniting employees around a common interest or cause.
Our Kao USA ERGs contribute to creating a more inclusive workplace.

Women’s Empowerment

We promote women’s empowerment, as it is an aspect of diversity that relates to a significant proportion of our workforce.
Empowering Employees with Disabilities

We strive for a society in which people with and without disabilities work and live together in harmony, creating workplaces for employees with disabilities that are comfortable and foster a sense of pride in one’s work.
Empowering Employees of LGBTQ+ Communities

In order to foster a working environment in which everyone can thrive, we drive efforts to further employees’ understanding of LGBTQ+ issues.
Fostering an Inclusive Culture

We drive efforts to deepen understandings of key areas such as women’s empowerment, employees of the LGBTQ+ communities, non-Japanese employees, employees with disabilities, balancing work and childcare, and balancing work and family care. We are also working to raise awareness of psychological safety and unconscious bias in order to create an organizational culture with strong communication and teamwork, and diversity is a strength.
