Tokyo Music Competition was established by Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in 2003. Kao co-hosts it with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and The Yomiuri Shimbun, as a way of supporting activities to discover and nurture people who will be responsible for the future of the music industry in Japan.
This is a junior company established in 2013 by Tetsuya Kumakawa, a world famous ballet dancer. Kao supports their activities aimed at discovering talented young artists and enriching ballet culture by providing young dancers with the opportunity to perform with a professional-caliber ballet company.
Kao supports management of four leading orchestras, and national theatre and art exhibition held in Japan to develop and pass down valued arts and culture.
