Molton Brown Launches Recycling Scheme

image

Molton Brown, British fragrance makers, are excited to announce their 'Return. Recycle. Reward.' scheme is now launching in the UK after successfully piloting at select stores. As our bottle caps, pumps and Hair Care collection bottles are not widely recycled in the UK, this scheme ensures that each and every component of your used product is transformed and given a new life. This is our very own initiative, as part of our determination to banish single-use plastic and reduce our impact on landfill. As we celebrate our 50th year, we're deeply proud to stay loyal to our roots as early pioneers of positive luxury with a conscious care for the world. We've always made our products in England, remain cruelty free, and today, we're committed to improving our plastic footprint.

Beatrice Descorps, Global Vice President, Marketing, Molton Brown outlines: "Only we are responsible for protecting our planet – we believe that sustainability is more than the right thing to do, it's a must. Our new 'Return. Recycle. Reward.' program pays homage to our pioneering founders, who put nature at the core of our philosophy. By transforming our bottles into new resources, we're one step closer to reducing landfill and creating a circular economy for future generations".

Return. Recycle. Reward. - How it works

Return: Bring your empty Molton Brown plastic bottles to our store and pop them in our designated recycling bin.

Recycle: Each batch is collected during the next stock delivery, to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible and sent to a partner recycling facility called Cleantech. Cleantech will clean and recycle your bottles, caps and pumps into plastic resin, which can be used for endless purposes in the UK, from moulding new plastic bottles to creating shoes and building roads – our way of giving back to the earth and nurturing its resources.

Reward: As a thank you from us, enjoy 10% off when you return a 300ml bottle or bottles that add up to 300ml.*1

Molton Brown's 'Return. Recycle. Reward.' scheme is available in the UK on Monday, 7th June 2021.
