2020, 6, 26, 10th Kao International Environment Painting Contest for Children movie now available

The Kao International Environment Painting Contest for Children has been held annually since 2010, with the aim of encouraging children around the world to think seriously about conservation of the environment around them and of the earth, as well as about the earth's future. Their thoughts are expressed in their paintings, which also encourages people around the world to take action in their daily life to preserve the environment.

Last year, 16,552 entries were received from children all over the world in the 10th contest. In December 2019, the winners of the 10th "eco together"-Planet Earth Grand Prix and "eco together"- Kao Prize who were selected among the entries from all over the world gathered for the awards ceremony in Tokyo. The inspiring winning works and the inspiring messages behind shared at the awards ceremony is now available on YouTube.

Applications for the 11th contest this year have been open since March 23, and we are accepting entries now through September 4.

Kao announced its ESG strategy, the Kirei Lifestyle Plan, in April 2019. We will increasingly expand the "Kao International Environment Painting Contest for Children" as part of our global ESG activities and strive for the wholehearted satisfaction and enrichment of the lives of people globally and to contribute to the sustainability of the world.
