  • If you have any symptoms such as a fever 37.5°C (99.5°F) or higher, please refrain from visiting.

  • Approximately 20 minutes by taxi from JR Wakayama Station
    (approximately 40 minutes by limousine bus from Kansai International Airport to Wakayama Station)
  • Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Nankai Main Line Wakayama-shi Station

How to Visit

Advance reservations are required. Staff will be available to guide you. (Free admission)

Time Required

  • 120-minute course: Museum and factory tour
  • 90-minute course: Museum tour and factory introduction video
  • 60-minute course: Museum tour

Weekdays (closed on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company summer holidays, etc.)
Note: Days of operation may vary by week. Please inquire when making a reservation.

(Note)
Please refrain from photography, videotaping, and audio recording at the Wakayama Plant.
Smoking is prohibited inside the Wakayama Plant.
Please refrain from eating and drinking inside the museum.
Visitors who have been drinking are not permitted to tour the facility.

Visit Application

Maximum Number of Visitors

Up to 40 people per session (for children in third grade and above).
If you will be accompanied by children below third grade, please inquire .
If your group has fewer than 10 people, we can arrange a joint visit with other guests.

How to Apply

Please apply by phone.
We accept applications starting 2 weeks prior to the first business day of the desired month, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tour Course Introduction

Visitors can choose between a museum tour only or a tour that includes a factory introduction video.

Course A: 120-minute course combining museum tour (80 minutes) and factory tour (40 minutes),  Course B: 90-minute course combining museum tour (80 minutes) and factory introduction video (10 minutes), Course C: Museum tour (60 minutes)

  • * Museum tour (80 minutes) includes an introduction to industrial chemicals from an environmental perspective.
