Kao Corporation today announced its inclusion in Euronext Vigeo Eiris World 120 Index, one of the renowned socially responsible investment (SRI) indices in the world.
Euronext Vigeo World Index 120 is offered cooperatively by NYSE Euronext (USA) which runs large number of securities exchange in the United States and Europeand Vigeo Eiris (France and UK) which is a global provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) research. The index is composed of the 120 highest-ranking listed companies from the viewpoint of Environment, Social, and Governance in Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region, 15 companies of which are headquartered in Japan.
To enhance corporate value, the Kao Group has formulated objectives to be achieved by 2030, and established the Kao Group Mid-term Plan 2020 (K20) targeting the four years from FY 2017 to FY 2020.
