From April 23rd to 25th, Sustainable Brands, a global community of brand leaders who are tapping environmental and social challenges to drive innovation, business and brand value, conducted their renowned Sustainable Brands Summit for the first time in Paris with more than 3000 participants from
renowned companies from various industries, as well as experts, agencies, start-ups and media. Kao was present with an exhibition booth showcasing the latest sustainable packaging innovation such as the new Guhl packaging as well as projects such as AFB (air filled bottle) that are still in their testing phase.
“When it comes to sustainability, or ESG as we call it, Europe is a lead market not only for us in Kao but globally”, explains Dave Muenz. “It is here where consumers are most demanding about brands being sustainable and also where the market, competitors and retailers are most advanced in this area. So choosing Europe for the announcement of our global ESG strategy felt right.”
