Kao is organized in a matrix structure. Our three Business sectors operate across regions and are supported by our regional Functions Operations Teams of R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Legal, IT and Communications.

It is the role of the functions to enable our business sectors who serve consumers and stylists, hotels and retailers around the world. 

They create the work environment in which Kao people can be successful and make sure that our cash flow keeps our operations running. More than 150 researchers are developing new hair care technologies and products. Nearly 200 employees in our factories produce 140 million products every year while constantly working hard to make our supply chain greener. What unites all of us is the passion for premium products of the highest quality that serve our consumers and customers while respecting our planet.
