Founded in November 1975 in Castiglione Delle Stiviere, close to Lake Garda, the operations were
relocated to Rome in 2007. Today, the office is situated right in the heart of Italy’s beautiful capital city
in walking distance from Piazza di Spagna.

Since 2017, the Salon Academy in Rome offers a spacious and modern environment for education
and inspiration. In 2019, the Kao Salon Academy in Milan doubled its space and was refurbished to
offer best in class training in northern Italy.

The team, composed of Marketing, Education, Sales, HR, and Finance, together with its sales force,
serves Salon owners and stylists across the country, driven by the passion to be a leader and
trendsetter in the professional hair care industry. Their mission is to enrich stylists, salon owners and
