Our presence in France in the FMCG industry started with the launch of the John Frieda premium hair care brand in 1999. After being acquired by Kao the John Frieda brand continued to grow and we expanded distribution across various channels, focusing on hypermarkets and supermarkets.

In 2017 we introduced the famous Bioré skin care and cleansing brand and in 2019 we launched the MegRhythm Steam Eye Masks from Japan. Our focus at Kao France is on products within the Kao Consumer Division.
