“The interview process at Kao is really friendly. You can expect to be engaged in conversation and of course we want to hear about your skills and experience; but we’re equally interested in your enthusiasm for our brands and alignment with our values. We are looking for people who share our passion for purpose-driven beauty and who will thrive within our culture and business.”

  • What to consider when you prepare your CV

The CV will be all about showing us why you are the best person for the role—based on your work experience, skills and your personality.

Make sure all of this is visible and that you highlight those aspects that are relevant to the role you are applying for.

    • Start with a concise professional summary of three to four sentences that showcases your most relevant skills and capabilities tailored to the role

    • Highlight your key responsibilities and achievements during your career that may be relevant for the new role.

    • Last but not least—try to keep it short  and error free.

  • How to let your Linkedin profile speak for yourself

Your Linkedin Profile is a great opportunity to show us more about yourself.

It will give us an impression of what kind of person you are next to your professional profile.

    • Make sure you have an up to date profile that conveys your personality.

    • The “About” section is the place where you describe your personal brand. Who are you as a person and a professional? What are your key achievements and what drives you?

    • Make sure your experiences match up with your CV. If you like, add photos and videos to illustrate your former work experiences.

    • Your interests will show us what you are passionate about.

  • How to best prep for your interview

No need to be nervous! We want to get to know you better and get an idea of who you are.

Let your passion and energy shine through as you share your story.

    • Make sure you have the profile of the role top of mind and that you know why you fit this role.

    • Make sure you know about Kao and our company. Our corporate website is a good place to start.

    • Think about common interview questions and make sure you are prepared for them. The STAR interview technique is a great place to start.

    • Let us know about your achievements. Think about examples from your career history when you have been most successful or most challenged.

    • Also prepare some questions—what do you want to know about us? We want to ensure that we are the right fit for you.
