KUALA LUMPUR, 25 July 2026 – Kao Malaysia successfully concluded the Men’s Bioré University Cup Tournament 2026 Grand Finals, reaffirming its commitment to empowering Malaysia’s next generation through confidence-building, healthy lifestyles and positive youth engagement via one of the country’s fastest-growing passions – esports.
Held at Quill Convention Centre, Quill City Mall, the Grand Finals marked the culmination of a nationwide tournament that brought together more than 400 university students from four leading public and private universities. Throughout the tournament, participants competed in two of Malaysia’s most popular mobile esports titles – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings – for a total prize pool of RM12,000.
Designed as a long-term youth engagement platform, the Men’s Bioré University Cup demonstrates Kao Malaysia’s commitment to connecting with Gen Z through the communities and experiences they are most passionate about. Guided by the campaign theme, “Kontrol Game Anda”, the initiative encourages young men to build confidence, embrace positive self-care habits and cultivate sportsmanship while pursuing excellence both in competitive gaming and everyday life.
The tournament featured campus qualifiers at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Multimedia University (MMU) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), alongside online qualifiers that attracted university gamers from across the country. Winning teams earned the opportunity to compete on the national stage at the Men’s Bioré University Cup Grand Finals, where they showcased exceptional teamwork, determination and strategic gameplay before an enthusiastic audience of students, gaming communities and supporters.
