Kao Joins hands with Thaioil Group to improve road pavement with innovative asphalt for Laem Chabang Hospital

Mr. Yuji Shimizu, President of Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. And Mr. Bandit Thamprachachit, Chief Executive Officer and President, Thai Oil Public Company Limited have recently joined the handover ceremony of "Road improvement for Laem Chabang Hospital" which utilize the developed formulation of asphalt emulsion which was developed by researchers from both companies. The project was received by Dr. Ramet Ampaipit, Director of Laem Chabang Hospital.

The newly formulated asphalt mixture is an innovative solution for road construction that comes with high adhesion and prevents the effects of moisture damage on road layers. This makes the road strong stability, toughness, and eco-friendly.

With 50 volunteers from both companies joined the CSR activities including tree planting and garbage collection to improve Laem Chabang Hospital's landscape before handing over its project to the hospital.
