Curél launches the new Carbonic Acid series as a solution for dry, sensitive skin

Singapore, 1 July 2026 – Formulated for dry, sensitive skin that tends to appear dull. This dullness can result from sebum and other impurities, as well as a shadowed and lacklustre tone caused by the rough texture associated with dryness. One of the insights it that people with dry, sensitive skin might avoid regular facial wash due to harsh cleansing ingredients that can strip skin of natural oils, leading to dryness (skin feels tight and appears dull). They might instead rinse with just water to prevent skin from drying out, however skin may look dull due to sebum and dirt.

Curél Moisturizing Rich Mousse Facial Wash is a carbonated gentle facial cleanser that brightens and smoothens dry, rough and dull skin. It is formulated with Carbonic Acid to break down sebum and dirt, in place of harsh cleansing ingredients. Soap-free and formulated for Ceramide Care, it gently cleanses while protecting ceramides and skin hydration. It is dispensed as a rich mousse foam, which transforms to a thick gel, which cushions against harsh rubbing and irritation. Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin, it is formulated without alcohol, fragrance or colorant.

Curél Moisturizing Ceramide Mousse Serum is formulated with Carbonic Acid which promotes high ceramide absorption deep into the skin (stratum corneum). It is formulated with biomimetic Ceramides^*2 and Eucalyptus extract which strengthens skin barrier function, and boosts skin’s inner hydration. Fast absorbing, it is also airy-light on the skin. It moisturizes dry, rough and dull skin, for bright and smooth skin. Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin, it is formulated without alcohol, fragrance or colorant.

An interesting experiment to see the Carbonic Acid working is to dispense the carbonated serum, about the size of a 50-cent coin, and wait 2 minutes before blending. The Carbonic Acid in the serum activates the skin, visible as a pink flush. This activation enhances the absorption of Ceramides deep into the skin.
