Kao Malaysia Supports Guardian Ramadan CSR Event “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran” with Wellness Education and Laurier Contributions

Guardian Malaysia hosts teenage girls from charity homes during the Ramadan CSR wellness engagement session at Sunway Pyramid.

Petaling Jaya, 3 March 2026 – In the spirit of compassion and giving during the holy month of Ramadan, Guardian Malaysia organized a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event themed “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran”, aimed at empowering teenage girls from charity homes through wellness education and self-care awareness.

Held as part of Guardian’s Ramadan outreach initiatives, the event brought together approximately 80 girls aged between 12 and 17 from several charitable homes to participate in an engaging wellness session designed to nurture confidence, promote personal hygiene awareness, and encourage healthy self-care habits.

The program featured a series of interactive sharing sessions led by Guardian pharmacists and selected brand partners, covering topics such as general health awareness, personal hygiene, and skincare tips tailored specifically for teenage girls navigating adolescence.

As part of this initiative, Kao Malaysia was invited to deliver a dedicated session on sanitary hygiene. During the sharing session, Kao Malaysia representative introduced participants to the basics of menstrual hygiene management, helping them better understand their bodies while equipping them with practical knowledge to maintain confidence and comfort during their monthly cycles.

The educational sharing aligns closely with Kao’s commitment to empowering young women through awareness, education, and access to proper hygiene solutions. Through initiatives such as school talks and outreach programs, Kao’s feminine care brand Laurier continues to support adolescent girls with knowledge on personal hygiene, self-care, and confidence-building during their transition into adulthood.

To further support the girls, Kao Malaysia also contributed 150 sets of Laurier sanitary care products, ensuring that participants left the session not only with valuable knowledge but also with essential hygiene products that can support their daily wellbeing.

Beyond the educational sessions, the girls also enjoyed a special Ramadan experience including a Hari Raya shopping activity and a festive buka puasa gathering, reflecting Guardian’s commitment to spreading care and joy among underprivileged communities during the fasting month.

Through collaborations like this, Guardian Malaysia and Kao Malaysia hope to continue uplifting young Malaysians by equipping them with essential life knowledge and encouraging positive self-care habits that contribute to their overall wellbeing and confidence.
