Kao Malaysia Employees Celebrate and Cheer on Miyuu Yamashita's Victory at the Maybank Championship 2025, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club

Kao Malaysia is proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Miyuu Yamashita on her outstanding victory at the Maybank Championship, held from 29 October to 2 November 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. It was a remarkable moment of pride for all of us as she demonstrated exceptional skill, composure, and true sporting excellence.

Our employees were thrilled to witness her inspiring performance live over two exciting days, as Miyuu Yamashita showcased remarkable precision, confidence, and consistency throughout the tournament. From her powerful drives to her decisive putts, every shot reflected her professionalism, focus, and passion for the sport.

The Kao Malaysia team cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines, celebrating every great moment of her play and sharing in the pride of witnessing her triumph on Malaysian soil. Despite the blazing sun, sudden rain, and a mid-game delay, Miyuu remained calm, composed, and in full control – embodying the spirit of perseverance and determination.

After 72 holes of intense regulation play, Miyuu Yamashita, Hye-Jin Choi, and Hannah Green were tied atop the leaderboard at 18-under, leading to a thrilling playoff to decide the champion. Demonstrating remarkable skill under pressure, Miyuu sank a stunning birdie putt on the 18th hole – completing an incredible comeback from eight shots behind to capture her second LPGA Tour victory of the season.

To express our heartfelt appreciation and admiration, Kao Malaysia President Mr. Yamazaki Hirobumi and Kanebo Malaysia Mr. Abe Sunichi presented Miyuu Yamashita with a gift of appreciation, symbolizing our support, encouragement, and pride in her achievement.
