Kao Chemicals certified the Carbon Footprint of Products label for 40 of its products

Recently, Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. by its chemical business, has received the Carbon Footprint
of Products (CFP) label for 40 of its products from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO. The Carbon Footprint of Products label indicates that the products have been assessed for greenhouse gas emissions throughout their life cycle, from the sourcing stage, transportation
of raw materials, and production. The 40 certified chemical products come from various industrial sectors, including agrochemicals, basic infrastructure, the steel industry, foundries, and more. With these certifications, customers can be assured that Kao's chemical products have been assessed according
to standards and encompass a wide range of industries.

Kao has announced its ambitious goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040 and becoming carbon negative by 2050. Kao also undertakes initiatives to drive sustainability across different facets, driving its sustainability strategy referred to as the 'Kirei Lifestyle Plan.'
