Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
was officially established on September 24, 1964 as the manufacturer of a wide range of shampoo and detergent products. Later in 1972, chemical plant was established to produce intermediate materials for local users and export.

Kao’s new factory started its construction in December 2003. Later in February 2005, the new factory has started the production after receiving an approved from Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). Kao’s new factory start all its production process by the end of 2005.

Kao new factory will work under 3 philosophies.

  • Ensure consumers’ reliability (GMP, ISO standards)
  • Profitable growth by productivity innovation (Quality, Cost and Speed)
  • Fulfillment of social responsibility (Safety, Environment and Disaster prevention)

Factory

The new factory is located at 700 / 313 Moo 6 Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Tambol Donhuaroh, Amphur Muang, Chonburi province

With Bath 4.3 billion investments, Kao’s new factory, with a size of 157,000 square meters-3 times compared to the old factory, will improve the company’s production process with 1.5 times production capability compared to the old figure. The new factory is going to be a production center of Kao in Asia.
