Kao Malaysia Honoured at #AEONResponsible Suppliers Forum 2025

KAO (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. proudly participated in the #AEONResponsible Suppliers Forum 2025, marking the 1st Anniversary of the #AEONResponsible Suppliers Program and celebrating collective progress toward a more sustainable and responsible supply chain.

Held on 8 December 2025, at the Azman Hashim Auditorium, AICB Centre of Excellence, Kuala Lumpur, the forum brought together AEON Malaysia and its supplier partners to recognise meaningful ESG progress achieved under the program.

At the forum, Kao Malaysia Sdn Bhd was honoured with two recognitions, reflecting our encouraging progress and commitment to ESG integration:

  • #AEONResponsible ESG Progress Recognition – Promising Starter
  • #AEONResponsible Accolades

These awards recognise Kao Malaysia's impactful ESG journey, aligned with AEON Malaysia's sustainability charter and our shared vision for responsible and future-ready business practices. The recognition reinforces Kao Malaysia's commitment to continuous improvement, responsible partnerships, and advancing ESG integration across our value chain.

Our ESG Journey Under the Program

Throughout 2025, Kao Malaysia actively participated in a series of engagements under the #AEONResponsible Suppliers Program:

  • 12 September 2025 – Breakfast Talk #1: Your ESG Launchpad
    • o Program overview and ESG readiness assessment
  • 23 October 2025 – Virtual Dialogue: Optimizing the Value of Your Carbon Footprint
    • o Emissions measurement and practical application using the CSI tool
  • 7 November 2025 – Breakfast Talk #2: Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Excellence
    • o Understanding electricity and fuel impact, with tips to reduce emissions and costs
  • 8 December 2025 – #AEONResponsible Suppliers Program Conference
    • o Supplier recognition, peer-sharing sessions, and identification of AEON's preferred ESG suppliers

These sessions equipped our teams with practical ESG knowledge, tools and insights to support more sustainable operations.
