Kuala Lumpur, 9 May 2025 – Kao Malaysia, in collaboration with Watsons, proudly kicked off its "Skin Protection, Life Perfection" campaign – an initiative dedicated to championing lifelong skin health, starting from youth. Centered around Bioré's dermatological science and a community-first approach, the campaign is a call to action for Malaysians to see skincare not just as a beauty routine, but as a foundation for health, confidence, and self-care.
Held in Kuala Lumpur, the launch event featured insightful sessions by dermatology and science experts, reaffirming Kao's commitment to educate, empower, and engage with Malaysians about the importance of daily skin protection. The campaign also includes exclusive Watsons promotions and a 1% donation from product sales to support local research on skin health.
The campaign also reflects Kao Malaysia's broader commitment to public and community health, extending beyond skincare. Building on previous initiatives such as the Guard Our Future project – a multi-initiative dengue prevention campaign featuring educational workshops, product donations, and gotong-royong cleanups in Selangor – Kao continues to work alongside key stakeholders, including the Selangor State Government. The presence of Yang Berhormat Puan Jamaliah Binti Jamaluddin, Selangor State EXCO for Public Health & Environment, at the launch signifies a shared vision for promoting preventive care and public well-being across the state.

The event spotlighted two expert-led sessions. Assoc. Prof. ChM. Dr. Noraini Binti Ahmad (Universiti Malaya) shared "The Science Behind Effective Skincare Ingredients", breaking down how quality formulations impact long-term skin health. Dr. Lim Ing Kien (Dr. Ingky), a popular medical educator and founder of Ventamin, continued with a live demonstration of skincare regimens tailored for different life stages.
