Kao Corporation is present in Indonesia with the belief that a clean nation is a wealthy nation. And a healthy life style is a mirror of a quality life.

In 1985, Kao Corporation made a big step in affiliating with PT DINO INDONESIA INDUSTRIAL Ltd., which has produced Dino detergent powder since 1969. The joint of these two companies is still under the name of PT Dino Indonesia Industrial Ltd with 50:50 share. Together with PT RODAMAS, Kao Corporation continues to promote cleaner, healthier and more beautiful lifestyle.

In 1990, PT Dinokao Indonesia was established to market products of PT Dino Indonesia Industrial Ltd. and at the beginning of 1997, PT Dino Indonesia Industrial Ltd. joined PT Dinokao Indonesia to become PT Kao Indonesia.
