Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of consumer and chemical products, celebrates its 60th anniversary by holding the "Kao 60th Anniversary: Saving Future Smiles" exhibition. The exhibition showcases Kao's commitment to enriching the quality of life and well-being of the people and the planet through innovative products following the ESG framework. These products help protect and care for the health of Thais while also being mindful of the environment. The exhibition features paintings that embody how children envision their ideal world and the showcase of upcycling plastic ideas from talented artists such as Asazak, Benzilla, and Short but very very cute by Ploy Horwang. The showcase based on the idea of transforming plastic waste into value-added everyday usable objects and to build awareness of the importance of recycling. Furthermore, The artists have incorporated Kao's used packaging materials into their creations.

Visitors can explore and experience Kao's sustainability innovations, including product demonstrations designed to enhance Thai people's quality of life while being environmentally friendly. Modeled after exhibitions in Japan, the event will be held from September 29 to October 5, 2024, at the Ground Floor of Samyan Mitrtown Shopping Center.

Anchored in the "Kirei" concept, Kao envisions cleaner, more beautiful lifestyles, enhanced personal well-being, thriving communities, and a vibrant world. It traces a path starting from 'the voices of children', leading to 'taking action', and culminating in the 'future world we want to make a reality'.
The Planet Zone begins with an exhibition of Thai award-winning paintings from Kao International Environment Painting Contest for Children from the 1st to 14th contest. This initiative aims to inspire children worldwide to express their invaluable ideas about diverse lifestyles and the environment, fostering creativity and encouraging global awareness of environmental issues and sustainable living. Next, the zone showcases Kao's sustainable product innovations based on the 4R principles: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Replace. These solutions not only address environmental challenges but also enhance convenience in people's lives. Concluding this zone is a display of upcycled plastic art designs, created in partnership with visionary ESG-minded collaborators like Melt District, as well as renowned artists such as Asazak, Benzilla, and Short but very very cute by Ploy Horwang. They have incorporated used Kao products and packaging into their artworks, adding value to plastic waste and enriching the narrative of the "Planet" zone.
People Zone invites visitors to explore innovative products designed to enhance quality of life while being environmentally friendly. Kao has recreated a lab from Japan, providing attendees the opportunity to engage with and learn more about the company's offerings. This zone features Protection Booths showcasing Bioré products, where participants can test the effectiveness of Bioré UV sunscreen and discover innovations in mosquito repellent product with Bioré Guard Mos Block Serum*. Visitors can also check out Curél, renowned for its gentle skincare solutions. Additionally, Hygiene Booths highlight products from Attack and Magiclean, allowing attendees to test the powerful cleaning capabilities of both brands. This reinforces Kao's commitment to enhancing hygiene & protection for improved quality of life.
