Kao Indonesia in Collaboration with JICA
Supports 1500 Hygiene Kits in 5 Provinces

Jakarta, 3rd November 2020, PT Kao Indonesia supported 1500 hygiene kits in 5 provinces through JICA Indonesia Campaign for Better Hygiene. The project is about enhancing the Quality of Maternal and Child Health Program and the Implementation of Maternal and Child Health Handbook in the Era of Decentralization, especially due to COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia.

The hand-over virtual ceremony has conducted on November 3rd, 2020 through digital platform. The event was attended by Mr. Shigenori Ogawa, Chief Representative of JICA Indonesia, dr. Kirana Pritasari, Director General for Public Health of Ministry of Health, Mr. Daisuke Inoue, The First Secretary of Embassy of Japan in Indonesia and Mr. Masahide Nishida, President Director of PT Kao Indonesia.

PT Kao Indonesia provides 1500 Biore Hand Soap which included in the hygiene goods. The package will be distributed to the Ministry of Health and Health Center (Puskesmas) in 5 provinces. Mr. Masahide Nishida said, "To overcome this pandemic situation, we need collaboration from all parties, from Government, NGO, Private sector and the society. We are at Kao Indonesia committed to continuously take part and support the strategic partnership to overcome the pandemic situation".
