Kao Indonesia Contribute in Preventing COVID-19

Jakarta, 22 April 2020, Kao Indonesia as a Consumer Goods company that provides Hygiene and Human Health Care Products with its brands Attack, Bioré, Laurier, Merries and Magiclean takes part in supporting the government as precaution and countermeasure action on COVID-19.

Today, on April 22, 2020, Kao Indonesia handed over the donation through Corporate Social Responsibility program (CSR) inform of products, Bioré and Attack as well as supporting fund which directly delivered by Nishida Masahide as President Director of PT Kao Indonesia to Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) as Indonesia frontline taskforce of COVID-19 which represented by Ibnu Asur as Director of Optimization Logistic and Equipment Network at Graha BNPB, Jakarta.

Nishida Masahide, President Director of PT Kao Indonesia said, "Kao Indonesia give effort to support the government and Indonesia society in protecting and handling of COVID-19 outbreak in many ways from social donation through government institution, association, and media. Besides, Kao Indonesia committed to continuously provide hygiene and human health care products such as Bioré for hand wash".

"We are very appreciate and thankful for PT Kao Indonesia effort in supporting COVID-19 handling. This is pentahelix synergy, especially for business world in handling the disaster in Indonesia", said Ibnu.

Meanwhile, for production process, Kao Indonesia put the first place the government regulation, and our employee safety and health is an utmost priority. One of the way is implementation of Working from Home, give mask for employee, body temperature screening, restriction on daily work activity with physical distancing as the main priority.
