Kao Indonesia Supports in Enhancing Children Literation by Build Taman Baca Inovator “Kunang-Kunang”

Sukabumi read book at Taman Baca Inovator Kunang-kunang.

Jakarta, January 31th 2019 – Regarding to increase children literation, Kao Indonesia collaborates with Yayasan Taman Baca Inovator to build reading house named Taman Baca Inovator Kunang-Kunang at SDN 3 and Pojok Baca Inovator at TK Pelangi in Desa Pawenang, Kecamatan Nagrek, Kabupaten Sukabumi. These Taman Baca were inaugurated by Bapak Pratomo Prijambodo Aritedjo as Ass. Vice President HCD PT Kao Indonesia and Ibu Yessi Chandra as The Chairman of Yayasan Taman Baca Inovator. Inaugration held on Thursday, January 31th 2019 by signing collaboration MoU and attended by Headmaster of SDN 3 Pawenang, representative of Yayasan Luhur Anugerah, representative of Kecamatan Nagrek and representative of Village Head.

Besides producing good quality products, Kao Indonesia also hold social responsibilities and commitment to contribute to society, one of the activity is through education targeted for Indonesian children. Books are source of knowledge and reading is the key. The presence of Taman Baca “Kunang-Kunang” expected to be a source of light to enhance children reading interest – like kunang-kunang (fireflies).
