A New Bleaching System

Fabric Care

By reacting with hydrogen peroxide to form organic peracid, bleach activators exhibit superior bleaching properties that do not damage clothes or colored patterns. However, due to the high reactivity of activators, they could not be mixed stably within liquid bleach products.

Nevertheless, by dissolving an anionic activator and a cationic surfactant complex within a nonionic surfactant micelle, we succeeded in achieving a stable mixture within a liquid bleach product. Marketed as Wide Haiter laundry bleach, this was the first liquid bleach in the world to feature a bleach activator. Capable of bleaching, disinfecting, and deodorizing clothes simply by being poured into the washing machine, Wide Haiter laundry bleach has become extremely popular among consumers.
