Kao Sends Aid to Support Typhoon Stricken Philippines

Kao has donated 1,000,000 yen to the Philippine Red Cross in relief to the people and regions damaged by the typhoon that hit Mindanao, southern Philippines, over December 16 and 17. In addition, the Kao Heart Pocket Club, a voluntary aid organization set up by Kao Group employees, has provided 200,000 yen to Civic Force, a disaster relief platform conducting emergency relief activities in the Philippines.

Pilipinas Kao, the Kao Group company in the Philippines, has made a donation equivalent to around 360,000 yen to the Philippine Red Cross. In addition, Pilipinas Kao is helping residents of the city of Cagayan de Oro recover from the failure of the water and electricity power supply by providing a company-owned fire truck and four ISO containers to supply water for their daily needs.

Kao expresses its deepest compassion to the people and regions damaged by the typhoon and sincerely wishes for an early recovery for the area.
